Rules of the Game
In the L-systems (created by Lindenmayer) each sign expresses an action. F and G indicate a forward movement, + and -, clockwise and counterclockwise rotation, [ remembers current coordinates, and ] returns the cursor to that position. X, Y, Z have no meaning. The substitution rules determine how each letter changes in each iteration. Define an axiom and some rules and try experimenting! But first look at how preestablished rules generate some famous curves and fractals.
